About
About Black Sheep Moms Club
We are a community, media, and lifestyle brand for mothers who have been labeled too fast and judged too hard.
The moms the parenting internet wasn't built for. The ones navigating addiction recovery while trying to show up for their kids. The ones who lost custody and are fighting to get it back. The ones grieving, struggling, separated from their families by circumstance and by a system that talks about them instead of to them.
Black Sheep Moms Club exists because those mothers deserve a place that treats them as full human beings, not cautionary tales.
What we believe
You don't have to be fixed before you belong here. You don't have to be in recovery, out of recovery, or heading toward recovery in any particular direction. You don't have to have your kids back yet. You don't have to have figured it out.
We believe accountability and compassion aren't opposites. We believe dark humor is a survival skill. We believe the label is only a problem if you let other people define it.
What we make
A newsletter with real essays from real moms. Digital workbooks and journals that were written by people who know what it's actually like. Merchandise that says what we mean. A community where you can be honest.
What we won't do
We won't demand your redemption story. We won't perform perfection at you. We won't tell you what your recovery should look like. And we will never, ever make you feel like you have to earn your place here.
Nothing on this site is a substitute for legal advice, medical treatment, mental health care, or professional substance-use services. We are not those things. We are each other.
